Why Our “Locate a Loved One” Feature Is Important

At Spring Grove, our experienced staff members help families throughout Hamilton County craft meaningful final tributes to their loved ones. Over the years, we’ve laid many individuals to rest in our beautiful cemeteries, Spring Grove Cemetery and Oak Hill Cemetery. We often have families come to our cemetery trying to locate their loved one’s final resting place and are thrilled to announce our new search tool—our Locate a Loved One feature. This tool is an improvement on our previous service that simplifies the process of locating a loved one in one of our two cemeteries.

How do I use the Locate a Loved One feature?

If you’re wondering how to use Locate a Loved One, you must first click on the cemetery where your loved one is laid to rest. You’ll then be taken to a virtual map of the cemetery where you can enter your loved one’s name or other search criteria at the top and hit the search button. You’ll then see dropped pins on the same cemetery map showing you the graves or memorials that fit your search query. Clicking on a pin shows you the grave’s exact location in the cemetery, birth and death dates, nearby burials, and more.

What new features does Located a Loved One offer?

Locate a Loved One features a free memorial page that families can personalize with memories of their loved ones as a type of living memorial. Families can also access archived and modern digital burial cards via this new feature. You can also access step-by-step directions to the grave or get a 360-degree ground view of the burial plot.

What burial options are available at Spring Grove?

Whether you choose traditional burial or cremation for your loved one, we have unique burial options available to help you create a meaningful final tribute. You can choose from private family mausoleums, granite benches, monuments, and markers. Our in-house team of burial experts can help you create the perfect memorial for your loved one. Cremation placement options include niches in various locations, such as alongside a fountain, a lake, a waterfall, or a trail running through the woods.

If you have questions about our burial options at Spring Grove or our Locate a Loved One resource, please contact our staff by phone or email.
