Public Tram Tour 1:00 May 2025
Public Tram Tours are offered four times each month May through August and three times each in September and October. Your $5 donation will go to the Heritage Foundation to further efforts in education, preservation, and community outreach. Registration is required as space is limited.
TOUR TOPIC: WOMEN OF THE GROVE
Remarkable Women of the Grove is a tour designed to highlight a number of notable women and remarkable statues and monuments in Spring Grove. Beginning with the historical background of the Cemetery laced with stories of prominent women along the way. The tour touches on Spring Grove landmarks including the Norman Chapel, the Lakeside Mausoleum and the White Pine Chapel. Unique monuments including the mermaid, the pyramid and the sphinx are included along with their background stories. Historical information about The Robinson Circus, the pottery and art-carved movements in Cincinnati and the philanthropic contributions of our civic leaders rounds out the tour.
