Horticulture

Horticulture Volunteer Opportunities include working side by side with Spring Grove’s nationally renowned horticulture team. Volunteers will learn techniques implemented by the horticulture department with hands-on experience.

Thank you for showing interest in our program! Our dedicated Horticulture Volunteers assist in the following areas: keeping our front entrance area looking spectacular (weeding annual beds, containers, watering, taking care of specific gardens, etc.), controlling invasive species (honeysuckle, English ivy, burning bush), taking care of our tree and shrub collection (pruning, pulling ivy off trunks, mulching, etc.)

Opportunities include:

  • Landscape Gardening
  • Tree and Shrub Maintenance
  • Invasive Species Eradication
  • Spring Bulb Removal
  • Wreath Fabrication
