Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteerism at Historic Spring Grove provides a public service that educates and engages citizens in the protection and stewardship of the heritage and horticulture of Spring Grove Cemetery and Arboretum and the greater Cincinnati region. Our esteemed volunteers have the satisfaction and pride that come from volunteering their time and talents. Horticulture volunteers have an enormous impact on the visual beauty of Spring Grove Cemetery and Arboretum, while our docents have the feeling of accomplishment knowing they are keeping a bit of the past alive for the future. Volunteers develop new gardening skills and/or learn more about the history of our community and country, while providing service to an organization dedicated to the preservation of the past for the future. When you volunteer, you meet new people from all over the area.

All you need to become a volunteer is enthusiasm for history, art, architecture or horticulture, a willingness to learn and a desire to share with others. Your time commitment depends on you and your level of involvements. If you are interested in volunteering at Spring Grove Cemetery and Arboretum, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator at (513) 853-4941 or email volunteer@springgrove.org

The Spring Grove staff and Board of Trustees thank you for expressing interest in working for the cemetery on a voluntary basis.
