Greg Kent

Greg Kent, Vice President of Information Technology and Information Security Officer at Spring Grove Cemetery & Arboretum, joined the organization in 2006. Prior to this, Mr. Kent had a vibrant career in the hospitality industry, which took him as far as Alaska. There, he spent his summers working as a chef, ATV tour guide, and horse-drawn wagon guide amidst the grandeur of the Alaskan Range near Denali National Park.

Joining the Spring Grove Family in 2006 as the Systems Administrator, Mr. Kent leveraged his hospitality background to enhance the “customer”  experience with technology. He fostered an environment where employees were treated with utmost respect while ensuring they operated securely.

In 2010, Mr. Kent was promoted to Director of IT. Over the next decade, he concentrated on modernizing an outdated Oracle operating environment and diligently worked to eliminate “tech debt” across the organization. Simultaneously, he implemented solutions to help the organization achieve its primary goal of providing superior service to every family served. In 2023, Mr. Kent transitioned to the role of Information Security Officer, assuming the responsibility of ensuring a safe operating environment for employees and the families who entrust their needs to the organization. Finally, in 2025, Mr. Kent was promoted to Vice President of Information Technology.

Mr. Kent is a member of the IT Leadership Forum, The Circuit, and the IT Leadership Roundtable hosted by the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber.
